The Moy Riding Centre is a family run, child friendly equestrian farm located outside the village of Summerhill on the Meath/ Kildare boarder. Established in 1990 by Helen Fox and run jointly with her son Michael, the school has thrived from year to year. The farm nestled in rolling Meath countryside is the ideal place to discover the joy of horse riding and to enjoy the full immersive experience of a working equestrian farm.

We are a family run business and our central aim is the development and social interaction of adult’s children of all ages as they grow alongside our horses. The school is run on the lines of a small, close-knit club. Parents and students alike socialise with the same central love of horses.

”Well Well ! Where to begin ? Are we a part of The Moy or is The Moy a part of us? It seems like The Moy has molded us into it's very bosom & we succumbed willingly. I have been tied to this wonderland of playful animals laughing children card playing adults since day 1 ...I have watched my brothers & my cousins grow up there climbing trees hiding in stables & apple orchards....riding the duck walk & learning in lessons...finding fairies under the willows, and all the time, peels of laughter from each & every nook & cranny. Today I watch my own children out treking & hunting.. mucking out & hacking out....lounging around the yard with never more than inches away from some 'favourite' pet be it dog, duck, horse, chicken, rabbit, cat ... to name but a few! I don't know where the years have gone....flying by or fleeting moments... but all the while the most wonderful magical memories have been made in this mystical place. I just can't wait to see what happens tomorrow

”I started riding at the Moy riding centre 10 years ago and throughout this time I have progressed from having weekly lessons to competing at SJI level and that's thanks to Helen and Michael's knowledge and guidance. Their expertise is second to none and have helped me successfully complete my AIRE and BHS stage 1 examinations. I have had some of my best childhood memories here from pony camps to beach rides to trips to places like the National Stud. I can't recommend the Moy highly enough, whether you just love horses and want to have some fun, or are looking to progress to competition level, the Moy is the best place to start.
